Along with The Five Bells, The Pickled Egg Pub Company own and operate 3 other sites across Kent. These include The Duke William, a quintessential Kentish Pub located in the heart of the Garden of England, The Woolpack, a beautiful 16th century inn nestled in the peacefully picturesque village of Warehorne and The Radnor Arms, a recently-renovated victorian pub in the Old Bouverie district of Folkestone.
- Be proactive in developing the rest of the kitchen team below them, inspiring them to progress as chefs within the industry.
- Ideally, you will have gained experience within high volume kitchens as either a Head Chef or Sous Chef and want to progress your career further
Head Chef – Up to £42.5k per annum package (DOE) plus Private medical Insurance
We are looking for a hard-working, creative and passionate industry professional with at least one years experience at Head Chef level. You will responsible for the smooth running of a busy 5 day a week kitchen, working alongside the group Executive Chef to create all seasonal menus and with full accountability for the performance of the site. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is truly passionate about fresh, innovative food. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver the following: Have a proven track record in delivering the highest quality dishes in a busy and pressured environment. It will be your responsibility to make sure every dish that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standard. Be proactive in developing the rest of the kitchen team, inspiring them to progress as chefs within the industry. Full responsibility for ordering and controlling of stock whilst maintaining the highest health and safety practices throughout the kitchen. Creative control alongside The Group Executive Chef for all seasonal menus.
