The Five Bells is an iconic country pub in the picturesque village of East Brabourne, known and loved by locals and the wider South Kent community alike. Winner of 2019's National Pub of the Year Award, The Bells currently serves the best in locally sourced and seasonal dishes, built around a core menu plus daily specials, all created by Head Chef James Pearce and his amazing kitchen team. The Bells also possesses a stunning Summer terrace, complete with garden bar, and 4 beautiful guest rooms located above the pub. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the current team. These include The Duke William, a quintessential Kentish Pub located in the heart of the Garden of England, The Woolpack, a beautiful 16th century inn nestled in the peacefully picturesque village of Warehorne and The Radnor Arms, a recently-renovated victorian pub in the Old Bouverie district of Folkestone.

The Rocksalt Group are currently recruiting for a General Pub Manager to take over the running of The Five Bells Pub and Rooms in Brabourne. We are looking for a hardworking, creative and charismatic industry professional, with a proven track record of success in pub operations. You will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the business, with full accountability for the performance of the site across the pub and guest accommodation. The candidate will be expected to bring fresh, new and exciting ideas to the team. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is truly passionate about hospitality. You will work directly with the Operations Director and have responsibility for: • Weekly P&L performance of the site • Manage weekly wet stock performance with targeted drink GP% • Driving sales through service procedures and incentives. • Managing rotas for the site with targeted staff GP% • Successful management of all Health and Safety procedures. Further information on key responsibilities will be provided at the next stage of the interview process. - High end hospitality experience is preferred but not essential
