As Marketing Manager, my role is to manage all communications across the business, ensuring our brand message is strong, consistent, and engaging. From social media and newsletters to press communications and event promotions, I oversee how we connect with our diners and new followers across all platforms.
With a combined social media following of over 100,000 across our seven sites, digital marketing plays a crucial role in our strategy and my role. Through engaging content, behind-the-scenes insights, and real-time updates, I aim to showcase the very best of what we offer—from new menus and special offers to the incredible work of our talented team.
If you’re signed up to our newsletters, you’ll receive my exclusive updates on upcoming events, promotions, and seasonal menus. I also work closely on press opportunities to share our successes and ensure The Rocksalt Group remains a must-visit destination for food lovers. Whether it’s celebrating our latest achievements, launching an exciting new menu, or keeping our followers in the loop with what’s happening, my role is all about bringing our brand to life.

What’s the best part of the job?The best part of my job is that no two days are the same. Whether it’s preparing press releases, updating our website content or planning ahead for big campaigns, I enjoy having the creative freedom to come up with new ideas and marketing strategies that showcase our businesses at their best.

What’s your favourite venue & why? It’s a difficult choice as all our venues are totally unique in what they offer. My favourite venue right now has to be The Radnor Arms. A tucked away modern pub in the old Bouverie district of Folkestone that boasts a delicious menu with an Asian influence, if you haven’t tried the Asian nights, then you are really missing out.
-
And second choice?Has to be Little Rock. Located right on the beachside with breathtaking views out to sea, I loved the relaxed atmosphere and fresh seasonal catch of the day. Guaranteed to receive a warm welcome every time you visit, you’ll feel like you’re on holiday and I pinch myself every time, knowing I’m still in my sunny home town of Folkestone.

Hobbies & Fun Fact?Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and enjoying all that we have right here on our doorstep. I enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, yoga, dance classes and being out in the countryside and surrounded by nature. Having grown up in Iran for part of my childhood, my favourite cuisine is anything Persian or Middle Eastern influenced.
