The Rocksalt Group are now recruiting for a Tournant Chef. This role will involve travelling to all our sites (the Folkestone, Ashford and Canterbury areas) and covering kitchens often at short notice. Its a very varied and dynamic role for the right individual. You will need to hit the ground running and get to understand how each of our kitchens operate and be ready to take over at a moments notice, sometimes spending a week in one place and sometimes spending 5 days at 5 different locations. Due to the nature of this role you must have your own transport and a full British driving license.

- You need to be proactive in developing the rest of the kitchen team below them, inspiring them to progress as chefs within the industry.
You must have a proven track record in delivering the highest quality dishes in a busy and pressured environment. You must take responsibility, along with the other senior members of the kitchen team, for making sure every dish that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standard. You must have gained experience within high volume kitchens as either a Sous Chef or a Head Chef.
