The Wine Bar is back and who doesn’t love a great wine bar?
It feels like an age ago that wine focused bars were everywhere, until suddenly they weren’t. Thankfully, this much loved institution in which to meet, eat, socialise and most importantly, drink fantastic wine, is having something of a resurgence.
The wine list has been curated with a focus on the best local and continental wines from across the water, ably supported by classic cocktails and continental beers.
With the new bar offering comes a new food menu, exclusively for upstairs, featuring fantastic Maldon oysters offered up four different ways. Choose to have them served Classic, Tempura, Granita or Rockefeller beautifully presented at the bar or in our relaxed informal bar setting. Expect to indulge in our new take on a classic, introducing our new ‘Rock Monsieur’ and ‘Rock Madame’ as well as a variety of spring salads such as our new Mediterranean or Lyonnaise.
If sharing is more your style then expect to see a selection of charcuterie & cheese boards featuring a selection of Kentish cured meats and delicious cheeses, perfect for those looking for something a little lighter than the full restaurant menu downstairs.
