Summer is officially in full swing, and with the sun (mostly!) shining, there’s no better time to enjoy everything our pubs and restaurants have to offer.
From fresh new menus to vibrant local events, July is shaping up to be a deliciously busy month across The Rocksalt Group.
Think seasonal produce, like succulent Folkestone lobsters straight from our local shores, served up in both Rocksalt and Little Rock, and sweet, juicy Kentish fruits such as strawberries making their way into our desserts and summer cocktails. We’re proud to champion our local producers and farmers, whose incredible ingredients are at the heart of everything we do.
There’s plenty happening across our venues this month. The Duke William is getting ready to welcome guests to its much-loved Pork & Pints Festival on 19th July, pairing expertly cooked pork dishes with local craft beers for a weekend of proper pub fun. Meanwhile, on 20th July Folkestone is preparing for the most Wuthering Heights day ever with a special Sunset DJ special at Rocksalt Garden.
If you’re planning a getaway, now’s the perfect time to snap up a last-minute overnight stay before the school holiday rush begins. Whether you fancy a peaceful countryside escape with rural walks and nearby retreats at one of our characterful pubs, or a coastal stay in Folkestone at Rocksalt with sea views and access to this year’s Folkestone Triennial Art Festival, kicking off on 19th July, we’ve got your summer covered.
From field to fork, beach to bar, and pub garden to pillow — we can’t wait to welcome you this July.
